The Netherlands Institute of Military History (NIMH) is the central depository for all photographic material from throughout the armed forces. It is a large collection. It contains an estimated 2 million prints, negatives etc., while tens of thousands of new images are added every year.

If you want to consult the visual documentation archive, please call +31 70 316 58 36 for an appointement. You can also order photographic material. Fees depend on the intended use (private or commercial) and the size of the photo.
