This is a collection of 9000 articles, reports and overview lists that provide documentation, in the broadest sense, of maritime history. This collection is fully indexed, which makes it easy to find information that can serve as the perfect stepping stone for further research.
The NIMH does not lend books or magazines. You can, however, consult them in the reading room of the Institute. In return for a fee, it is also possible to make photocopies.
The opening hours are from Tuesday to Friday from 8.15 a.m. to 16.45 p.m. Please make an appointment by telephone: +31 70 316 28 47. Visitors to the NIMH are obligued to carry identification to gain access to the Alexander Barracks. Information may also be obtained by sending an e-mail: nimh@mindef.nl
