The NIMH can be reached:

  • from The Hague Central Station by bus no 22, direction Duinzigt (disembark at the 'Van Alkemadelaan/Waalsdorperweg' stop);
  • from The Hague Laan van NOI station by bus no 23, direction Duindorp (disembark at 'Bronovo ziekenhuis' stop);
  • from The Hague HS station by bus no 28, direction Waalsdorperweg (rush-hour service only, disembark at 'Bronovo ziekenhuis' stop).     

Reading room opening hours

Tuesday-Friday: 8.15 a.m. to 16.45 p.m.

Visitors to the NIMH are obliged to carry identification to gain access to the Alexander Barracks.
