PCTrans

PCTrans is used for geodetic and hydrographic computations.

The program provides many map projections and datum transformations. It calculates geodetics, loxodromes and areas taking into account Earth curvature. It determines differences between mean sea level and the chart datum, for positions on the Netherlands Continental Shelf and internal waters. Calculation of variations and inclinations of the Earth's magnetic field is also possible. All computed coordinates are plotted against a  background of coastlines or Google Earth.
