PCTrans

PCTransPCTrans is used for geodetic and hydrographic computations.

The program provides many map projections and datum transformations. It transforms geodetic to astronomical coordinates, calculates geodesics and loxodromes. It calculates areas, taking into account Earth curvature. It determines differences between mean sea level and the chart datum, for positions on the Netherlands Continental Shelf and internal waters. Calculation of variation and inclination of the Earth's magnetic field is also possible. All computed coordinates are plotted against a geographic background.
